It is with utmost sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Marilisa Pigozzo in Rome, Italy on 18 January 2024, at the age of 53 years. Cherished daughter, beloved sister, and loving wife, Marilisa was born and raised in her dearest City of Guelph. She lived in Italy for over 20 years working for Global Affairs at the Embassy of Canada to the Italian Republic. A beautiful person inside and out, she was a ray of light and an enchanting presence to all those she loved. She is missed by her colleagues, friends, and family. Her legacy, 'Omnia Vincit Amor' -- 'Love Conquers All', will live on in our hearts and through to eternity.
A memorial Funeral Mass of Resurrection to celebrate Marilisa’s life and faith will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Catholic Parish, 175 Emma Street, Guelph on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.
