Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 4, 2021. He was diagnosed with Mesothelioma a year ago.

Born and raised in Prince Rupert, British Columbia Ross attended the University of Oregon where he met his wife, Colleen. After graduation, they moved back to British Columbia where he taught high school in Vancouver and Salmon Arm. His woodworking passion became a business with Rascal Toys and later became Stockade Wood and Craft Supply which was moved to Guelph in 1988. He enjoyed providing Canadians all across Canada with their wood and crafting needs for over 45 years. He never considered himself to be “working”; only doing what he loved to do.

He leaves his wife, Colleen and his two much loved daughters; Sarah Cantlon (Greg) and Rachel Hussain. He was a loving Papa to Carly and Paige Cantlon; Jackson, Lexi and Thomas Hussain. Ross leaves behind his sister, Judy Wigmore, her husband Walter and his nieces and nephews; Jamie Wigmore, Susie Blattner, Jill Sillence and David Wigmore.

The family would like to thank the Government of Ontario for their support with the excellent palliative care Ross received during his final months. The Doctors and Nurses from Bayshore Home Care Solutions were professional and caring – much appreciated.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no private service. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.
