Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Arbour Trails on Thursday, March 30, 2023.

Survived by his wife Bonnie Pioveson; his children Tracey Runyon (Greg), Heidi Pioveson and Cory Pioveson (Daineris); his grandchildren Maya and Shalia; his siblings June Pioveson, Larry Pioveson (Betty), and Paulette Baum. Predeceased by his sister Anna Roberts (Don).

Glenn worked at Owens Corning Fiberglass Canada for over 30 years. Together with his wife Bonnie, they owned the Storehouse Christian Bookshoppe where they impacted many lives through their Christian faith. Glenn was someone who led by example and there are many who have shared stories of how his kindness and patience helped them in their life. Even though he struggled with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, we never heard him complain. As a Father he shared his wisdom, was encouraging, loved us and guided us and he had the best dry sense of humour that would catch you off guard! He was a man of strong faith and he instilled that in us. We will miss him greatly.

Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Thursday April 6, 2023, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).

The family would like to thank the staff of the Arbour Trails for their wonderful care of Glenn. A special thank you to Pastor Mike Stanley of Freedom House Church for his pastoral care and friendship to Glenn.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease Association or Freedom House Church (by etsf: [email protected]) would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Glenn A.  in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
