It is with broken and empty hearts we announce the passing of Emma Porcellato on May 9th, 2023 at the age of 88 at the Elliott Community with family by her side.
Loving wife for over 59 years to Bruno (2018). Loving Ma to Lucio (2021) (Liz), Liana (Mike) Grecco and Larry (Julia). Cherished Nonna of Jesse, Alex, (Brandon), Emma-Anne and Jacob. Bis-Nonna to Eddison, Connor and Callahan.
Emma is survived by many brothers and sisters, in-laws and many nieces and nephews that will miss her dearly in both Canada and Italy. Emma’s smile and personality were the hi-light of anyone who knew her.
The Porcellato family would like to give a special and heartfelt thank you to Melanie and the 3rd floor staff at the Elliott Community for all the care, love and attention during her stay and for maintaining Ma's sassiness.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive their friends on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John’s Church 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 10 a.m. Interment in Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
