It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Scott Preston on September 27, 2022 at the age of 52.

Loving husband to Jennifer Carnduff. Proud father of Wyatt and stepfather to Daxton. Cherished son to John Edward Preston & Judith Carol Preston (Nee Mack). Dear brother of Shawn Andrew Preston, Darren William Preston (Danielle), Kristi-Lee Kathleen Preston Connors (Shane). Proud and loving uncle to Jakob, Madison, Kingston & Lincoln. Predeceased by grandparents Art and Mabel Preston, Harold and Kay Mack . Scott will be sadly missed by aunts and uncles Linda, Donna and Dave, Jim and Lee, as well as many cousins. Scott will also be greatly missed by close friends Jay Gilliland , Cal Hill and many others.

Scott was passionate about fishing, golfing, friends and his new family. He brought a smile to everyone’s face with his constant comedic personality. Whether he caught the most fish, had the lowest scorecard or just took all your money playing poker he would make you laugh while he did it.

Scott relocated down the road six years ago and dedicated all his time and efforts to his new family Jen, Dax and Wyatt, as anywhere Scott went he was instantly accepted by all. Although his other friends and family saw him less, they all understood that he was truly happy and this is where he would be for the rest of his life.

He will be greatly missed at every golfing, camping, fishing and family gathering to name a few. If there was a get together of any kind, than there is a story about Scott. He will be remembered and reminisced for the rest of our lives.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph. The family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022 from 11:00am – 1:00pm. A funeral service will take place in the Hart Chapel at 1:00pm, followed by a reception. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Registered Education Savings Plan for Wyatt would be greatly appreciated by the family. Donations can be made directly to Jen Carnduff by cheque or e-Transfer ([email protected]).
