Passed away after a long and brave battle with cancer on February 8, 2021 at the age of 78.
She is predeceased by her husband Stephen Purchase (2020). Much loved Mom and best friend to Laurie (Ray) Goudrealt and Mike (Joanne Evans) Beeteson and predeceased by their father, Robert Beeteson. Adored Grandma and Nanna to Sasha Hill, Jules Goudreault and the late Patricia Hill. Loved daughter of the late George (Alma, Nee: Halpenny) Reed and sister of the late James, Alf and Georgina. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, friends, and her many four legged grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A special thank you to Diane Syvret whose many phone calls kept her giggling like a teenager in her last months.
During the last six months of her life, Susan was able to tackle her bucket list, including skydiving, a motorcycle ride, ziplining, trying new foods, and a girl's spa day. She will be remembered for her zest for life and dedication and love for her family.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated, but more importantly, spend time with your family and express how much you love them.
