Pyra in her 94th year was the beloved wife of the late Walter Pyra
(1998). She was the loving mother of two sons, Gerald Pyra and Albert
Pyra and his wife Rosalie. Maria was the dear grandmother of Carolynn
and her husband Seth Hunter and Samantha Pyra and her husband Valentin
Farkasch. She was the dear sister of Tekla Piotrowski and predeceased by
two brothers and two sisters

Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive their friends on
Friday, April 9, 2021 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at the
Basilica of Our Lady 45 Norfolk St., Guelph on Saturday, April 10, 2021
at 10 a.m. Interment in Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. Due to Covid-19
protocols, guests must RSVP their attendance at the visitation and at
the Funeral Mass by registering on the funeral home website or calling
the funeral home 519-822-4731. As expressions of sympathy, donations to
the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the
