Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, with Ivy, his loving wife of 40 years, by his side.
Loved father of Delores Felmin (Rodney), Shyanne Hernandez, Mike Oates (Melanie), Maranda Huether (Greg) and Jessica Oates (Zain). Cherished grandfather of fourteen and great grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Shyanne Reckzin, Jody Matson (Ron) and the late Allen Reckzin (Ann). Beloved son of Ruben Reckzin and the late Faye (nee Howard). Remembered dearly by aunt Doreen Gunson. Will be dearly missed by his best fishing buddy Adam Wrightson.
Steven was a kind soul and was often called a gentle giant. He loved fishing, fishing trade shows and finding the best deals. He was a loving and supportive husband and father, and was so very proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
