Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at St. Andrew’s Terrace, Cambridge on Friday, July 16, 2021, at the age of 77.
Beloved wife of the late Bryon Risk (2010). Dearly loved mother of Brian Plummer (Wendy), Tracey Burby (Brad) and Shelley Tonin. Loving grandmother of Kristin (Corey), Travis, Richard, Sheylin, Lucy and Ninja. Cherished great grandmother of Carter, Cooper and Hayden. Dear sister of Lois (Elgin) Awrey, Harvey (Betty) Allan and Mildred (Silvano) Filippin. Predeceased by her brother Clifford Allan. Will be dearly missed by her special friend Pat Beirnes and family, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Muriel loved family dinners and reunions and enjoyed knitting and baking yummy treats for family and friends. Muriel loved country music and dancing the night away with her friends. Summer weekends at the trailer and visits to the farm to love the ponies and little Fiona.
A public visitation will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 2-4 and 7-9.
