RITCHIE, Susan

After a short and isolated battle with COVID-19, Susan Ritchie passed away on December 8th, 2020 at the London University Hospital in her 70th year. Although we were not able to be with Susan at her time of passing, she was loved immensely by all those who knew her and she has never left our hearts and thoughts.

Susan was the Loving Wife to Robert Ritchie of 45 years, beloved Mother to Brett (Kerry) and Melanie (Brett Squire), cherished Nanny to Liam, Wyatt, Ashlyn, Rylan, Brennan and Isabelle. Dear sister of Kathy (Danny Kaniuk), Paula (Peter Mogg) and Barb MacKay and lifelong friend of Wendy Herbert.

With us able to gather as a group, we are honoring Susan’s eternal optimism and enduring warmth with a Celebration of Life with family and friends from near and far. Please join us for some of Susan’s favourite things including hot tea and great cheese including light lunch as we share stories, laugh, reconnect and remember Susan fondly.

Friends and family are invited to drop by to share a memory of Susan on Saturday, October 8th from 11:00am-2:00pm, with remarks at 12:00pm at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph.
