Rivet, Ronald (Rene, Dino Ron) passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the age of 80. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda (nee Wilson). Much loved father of Ryan (Karen) and Ashlee (Andrew) Boyle. Loving grandfather to his little angels Avery, Kinsley, Hannah and Hayleigh. Dear brother of Stella (Rob) Poyner, Rick (Darlene) and Janet (Rick) Gimza.
Ron worked for Canada Post for 32 years and upon retiring served as a crossing guard for 20 years. A lover of sports, Ron especially enjoyed hockey and baseball and spent a great deal of time at the arena and baseball diamond watching his children play when they were young.
