It is with a heavy heart we share the passing of our mother Georgina "George" on Wednesday April 6, 2022 in her 73rd year peacefully at Hospice Wellington. Beloved daughter of the late Fredinando and Mary (Markotjohn) Sanvido and partner of the late Frank W. Fegan. Predeceased by her sister and best friend Louise Pryor (Lorne) and brother Gary.

She will be deeply missed by her daughters Sherri Burton (Roberts) and Charlene (Doug) Roberts and grandchildren Kaitlyn (Marshall) and Garrett Myles. Cherished step mother to Frank J. (Franca) Fegan and grandchildren Avery (Oliver), Aryanna, Celina; Christine (Ian) Cameron and grandchildren Zach and Matthew; and the late Stephany Sinclair (Fegan) and grandson Damon.

Mom was the foundation and strength not only for her immediate family, but her extended family as well, her nieces (LeeAnne, Lyndsay, Lisa), nephews (Brad, Jeff, Mark), and great nieces and nephews. There was nothing she would not do for anyone. Her greatest joy was being present for the kids’ activities, family celebrations, and traveling with family and friends. On the weekends she could be found flipping channels between her favourite sports team and cheering them on.

Georgina was born and raised in Guelph. She dedicated her work journey beginning at the age of 14 to St. Joseph’s Hospital, transferring to the Guelph General and remained there until becoming ill. The staff she worked with throughout the years were not only her friends, but family.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the kindness, and compassion far beyond expectation from all the staff at Hospice Wellington. The Hamilton General ICU and 7 West for their care and patience.

A memorial service will be held in the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2 p.m. A celebration of life will continue in the fellowship lounge from 3-5 p.m. Please wear your favourite sports jersey.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Wellington would be greatly appreciated. Online donations and condolences can be made at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com.
