Nancy passed away peacefully in her 75th year after a long illness in Guelph, Ontario on October 30, 2018. Nancy was the daughter of Murray Hunt DDS and Grace Meiners and sister to Jane Wright. Best friend and much loved wife of William (Bill) for 52 years. Loving mother of Brian (Kristen) and Gregory (Michelle). Grandmother of Scott, Kyle, Evelyn and Henry.
Nancy grew up in Stratford before moving to Toronto. She was a graduate of York College, University of Toronto and a long time Geography teacher for the Toronto Board of Education. After retirement, Nancy and Bill moved to Guelph and enjoyed golfing, book clubs, travelling, cottaging in Muskoka, and wintering in Australia.
A celebration of Nancys life followed by a reception will take place on Monday November 5 at 11:00am at St. Georges Anglican Church, 99 Woolwich Street, Guelph. Donations to Wyndham House for youth would be greatly appreciated.
