Passed away suddenly at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus, on Wednesday, August 12th, 2020 in her 89th year. Beloved mother of Daina Luszczek (Casimir) and devoted grandmother of Laura Luszczek and Krista Stephenson (Chris). Liisa is survived by many family in Finland. Predeceased by her son Johnny Jakavicius (1991). Funeral Service for Liisa will be held at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David Street South in Fergus, on Sunday, August 16th, 2020 at 3:00pm, with visitation from 1:00pm. Due to COVID-19, mandatory physical distancing and use of facial masks will be enforced. Memorial donations can be directed to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
