It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ruth Anne Roth on April 17th, 2024, at the age of 71. Cherished daughter of Garnet and the late Ruth Clayton (Chadder). Beloved mother of Elizabeth Roth, Lisa Gorgi, and Joseph Roth (Angela Morgan). Loving grandmother to Exander Mayot, Larenne Mayot, Peyton Morgan, Ellie Brezovic, and Lina Brezovic. Dear sister of David Clayton (Linda), Terry Clayton (Kim), Jim Clayton (Laura), John Clayton (Barb), and Geoff Clayton (Juliana).
Ruth Anne was a devoted employee at the Homewood Health Centre for over 35 years. Her kindness and warm disposition will be greatly missed by all of her friends and extended family.
A special thank-you to surgeon Dr. Drew Bednar who gave us an extra five precious years with our beloved mother. We also thank the Stroke Unit nurses and PSWs at Guelph General Hospital for their wonderful care, ensuring comfort during her final days with us.
Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, Ontario (519-821-5077).
As per Ruth Anne's wishes, a private cremation will take place at a later date.
