Of Guelph, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Beloved husband of 43 years to Jan (nee Copeman). Loving father of Alisha (Cam) Chambers, Jake (Rachelle), Kyla (Chris) Glazier, all of Guelph and Jared (Michelle) of Paris. Loved grandfather of Taylor, Julia, Connor, Brooke, Ava, Aaron, Noah and Cole. Dear brother of Jean (the late Rob) Ashley of Toronto. Predeceased by his parents Myrtle and Frank Rowntree of Burk’s Falls. Bob will be sadly missed by his “Auntie Joan” and by his fishing buddy Paul.
Bob was a graduate of the U of G and a longtime resident of the city of Guelph. Thank you to all those who supported Bob and our family through Bob’s long journey with dementia. Thank you to those who showed unconditional love and friendship, and to the medical professionals who advocate for those with dementia.
