Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington, Guelph on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at the age of 97 years. He was the beloved husband of the late Blanche Royston (nee Jepsen d. 2018). Loved father of Janet (James) Bradley and Stephen Royston (Sharon Frappier). Proud grandfather of Patrick (Katrina), Michael (Kim), Paul (Crystal), Graham, Jeanette (Greg), and Angela (Jeff); great grandfather of Hannah, Macey, Jack, Cole, Paige, John, Cassie, Gabbie, Isabel, Gaston, and Emilie. Predeceased by his brother Dennis. Geoffrey will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services. If desired, donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth,
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds, - - and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of - - Wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hovering there
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air...
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I've topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace
Where never lark or even eagle flew - -
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high un-trespassed sanctity of space.
