SANEZ, Josefino Del Posso

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Josefino Del Poso Sañez on August 7, 2022 at the age of 86.

He was a loving husband to Gliceria Balmeo Sañez for 63 years of blissful marriage and had three beautiful children: Josephine Quintano (Ramon Quintano), Judith Sañez and the late Jorge Sañez.

Josefino was a beloved Lolo (grandfather) to Mon Angelo Quintano (Stephanie Ortiz), Jo Angeline Quintano (Nickolas Westcott), Stephen Valdivia, and dear dog grandfather to Toby Sañez Quintano.

He was the dear brother of the late Estrella Basilio (Cesar Basilio†), Gloria Bañez (Pepito Bañez†), the late Trinidad Lao (Esteban Lao†), Julito Sañez (Elizabeth Sañez†) and the late Elsa Sañez. He was also the beloved brother-in-law of Norma Repaso (Federico Repaso) and uncle to Janrey and Michael Repaso.

He was a proud and active member of the Apostolates of the Divine Mercy (Guelph) and the Guelph Peñafrancia, a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Club.

He will be fondly missed and remembered by all the families and friends whose life he had touched and changed forever.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, where the family will receive friends and relatives for visitation on Thursday, August 11, from 7:00pm - 9:00pm with Vigil Prayers led by Father Bergsma at 8:45pm and Friday, August 12, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Parish, 409 Paisley Rd. Guelph, on Saturday, August 13 at 10:00am followed by Entombment at the Marymount Cemetery Mausoleum, 5400 Sideroad 6 South, Guelph.
