Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, with her family by her side. Gloria Carol (nee McLennan) Scantlebury, in her 77th year, was the beloved wife of Paul Scantlebury. She was the dear mother of Michael (Dina), Victoria (Scott), Shannon (Dana), Mary, Joel (Heather), Christian (Shelley), the loving grandmother of Philippe (Amie), Andreas (Lisa), Zachary (Krystle), Isaiah, Xavier, Chloe Anne, Daniella (Christian), Cameron, Skylar, Mercedes (Curtis), Shyanne, Hailey, Devin (Jane), Savannah, Aisha, Xavier, Sade, Carissa, Nevaeh, Caleah, Ethan, Chance and Evan and special great-grandmother of Levin, Asher and Perla. Gloria was predeceased by her parents Lillian (nee Sturgeon) and Joe Grenville Garfield McLennan. She is survived by her sister Tanny (Bob) and by her nieces and nephew.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 9 to 11 a.m., followed by a chapel service at 11 a.m. Interment, Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph.
