SEPERS, Cornelis 'Kees'

Posted

Sepers Kees MM

Kees filled our hearts with love, laughter, song and a million memories which we will carry with us forever. He gave big love and was so loved in return.

An avid reader, lover of good tunes and semi-professional joke-teller, Kees always had a story to tell. He loved music (walls of records, CDs and tapes), and was always keen to share new songs and artists he’d find while poking around on his iPad. Kees’ children would find music they hoped he would like, and he would add them to his ever-expanding collection of songs. He loved road trips, long drives on back roads, classic cars, and shared many stories of being in the Ventures Car Club. When asked what his greatest accomplishment was in life, he didn’t skip a beat in saying he had seven: his children.

Kees is survived by his wife, Sue Strobli, who will miss his blue eyes like roses miss the dew. When they met 36 years ago, they knew it would be forever.

There is no doubt that Kees will be deeply missed by many, many people: his children Chad (Donna), Sean, Jeremy (Tara), Jessica (James), Ashley (Richard), Jasmine and Tye (Sam); his grandchildren Chelsey (Zack), Jake (Desi), Alicia, Simone, Sasha, Roka, Tristan (Joana), Kristopher, Maggie, Rian and Fox; his great grandchildren Jack, Roawyn, Claire and Ezekiel; his siblings Jerry, Tony (Karen), Mary, Bert, and (predeceased by) Dirk (Mary); relatives (a gaggle of nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws) and so many friends far and wide. Kees was an inspiration to us all, and always left an impression on everyone he met.

When asked what he would like his obituary to say, his response was simply ‘Goodbye’.

Goodbye!

Thank you to Dr. Rosebush, Dr. Brodovsky, and his nurse Faith who all made it possible for him to spend his time at home, surrounded by loved ones.

As per Kees’ wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of a funeral, raise a glass in memory of all the wonderful times with Kees. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.
