With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dirk Sepers of Guelph on February 12, 2020.

Dirk will be remembered by many as a friendly and outgoing man. He worked at WC Woods until his retirement, then continued to work at Norm's Esso to remain social. He was a lover of slow pitch and bowling, a neighbourhood swim coach, and a great friend to many.

He is survived by his wife Mary (nee Seifried), their children, Shannon (Philippe) and Gerrit (Karen), grandchildren Declan and Lilly, also by his brothers Jerry, Kees (Sue), Tony (Karen), Bert, and sister Marja, sister in laws Sheila Fennel (Rob) and Anne Farrell (Dave), brother in laws Larry Seifried (Mary) and Wayne Seifried (Amy) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

An informal drop in celebration of life will take place on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 3 – 6 pm at the Army Navy Air Force Club at 32 Gordon St in Guelph.

Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Oxford are appreciated. 

A tree will be planted in memory of Dirk Sepers in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 2:30 pm.
