Passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Jack Sheehy (1994). Loving mother of Patricia (Hilliard Monk), Catherine, John, Michael (Renee), Rosemary (Walter Stulp) and Annemarie (Clint Davis). Proud grandma to many wonderful grandchildren. Dear sister of Helen (Larry Miller). Predeceased by her parents May and Vincent Synnott and her sister Anna Kirwin.
Marie’s strong faith and peaceful loving spirit inspired those who knew her.
Friends will be received for visitation at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Thursday, September 5th from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 178 Emma Street, Guelph, on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.. Reception to follow in the church hall. Private family interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oustic. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
