It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Balbir Singh Sidhu on February 28, 2023.

Loving husband to Rajinder for 43 wonderful years. Proud father, the best Grandfather, and cherished brother. Loving son of Gurdev Singh and the late Surjit Kaur. Will be missed by all his friends and extended family.

He was a true definition of a self-made man who worked relentlessly from a very young age to provide for his family and help those in need regardless of the relationship. He migrated to Canada in 1992 and through his hard work, was able to build a beautiful home and provide for his immediate and extended family. He worked tirelessly with great passion no matter the job, be it big or small. His true passion was working on cars for hours. He cared deeply about maintaining his health and was very spiritual. He encouraged others to take good care of their body and live life at God’s will.
His death is an irreversible loss to his entire family and community as his helpful, kind spirit will be missed by many.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph, where the family invites friends and relatives for a visitation on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 10am-12pm followed by a procession to Southwest Crematorium, 762 Woolwich St. Guelph, for a 1pm service.
