Of Guelph, passed away peacefully surround by her family at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Monday, November 12, 2018, in 86th year.
Loved mother of Lee Anne (Anthony) Clarke, Jackie (Russ) Tomson, and John (Kathy) Simpson. Loving grandmother of Michael (Kailey), Andrew (Nicki), Chelsea (Scott), Jessie (Markus), Tara (Grant), Denim and Lacey. Great grandmother of Logan, Evan, Alyvia, Ava, Aubrey and Desiree. Dear sister of Doris (John) Terretta.
At Jean’s request, cremation has taken place and friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 1 – 4 pm for a memorial drop-in. A moment of reflection will be held at 3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jean’s memory to The Salvation Army would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Jean Simpson in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2:30 pm
