Keith was a family man, who always had a smile when his family showed up to visit. Keith was steadfast in his love and willingness to help whenever needed. Keith took great pride and interest in spending time with his grandchildren, creating and sharing memories that will last a lifetime. Keith was an employee of Bell Canada for 35 years where he met many lifelong friends, with whom he remained in touch. In his retirement Keith also enjoyed golfing, travelling, and spending time with friends, particularly in Florida, where he and Joan spent numerous winters. In his earlier years, Keith was a member of the Separate School Board in Brantford and served as Chair of the Board for a number of years. Keith was also past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Guelph Country Club, as well as a member of the Board of Governor’s of Bishop Macdonell High School. Over the years, Keith and Joan enjoyed many cruises, and trips to Europe and to the Caribbean. Keith was a courageous fighter when it came to his illness and the challenges he faced. He always had a witty sense of humour and will be remembered for his many “Keith-isms”. Keith’s Family would like to thank Dr. Wagler, Dr. Whitten, Dr. Lund, as well as the PSW’s, and the nursing staff at Bayshore for their care and compassion.
