Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, May 19, 2023. Marie (Parkes) Smith was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Smith (1998). She was the loving mother of Christine and her husband John Ayles, Ronda and her husband Shawn Mackay, Allan Smith and his wife Sheila, Lorrie and her husband Michael Poppe. Marie was the proud grandmother of Kristal, Angela, Mandy, Travis, Dylon, Branden and Brent and great-grandmother of Mason, Hailey, Emmett, Alex, Ava, Ryker and a little one on the way. She was the dear sister of Joan Martin, Dianne Pike and the late Marion Walsh. Marie will be sadly missed by many other family members and friends.
Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph where a private family service will be held followed by interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
