SORIANO, Nicola

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, nonno and bisnonno, Nicola Soriano on Monday, June 27, 2022. Born on July 17, 1941. He leaves behind his loving wife of 53 years, Angela (Consonni). Predeceased by his daughter, Maria Sacchetti (2008). Survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Palmerino Sacchetti, Sylvana Soriano and Michael Vair, Barbara and Paul Baggio, his grandchildren, Nicolas Sacchetti (Katy), Tonie MacInnis (Trevor), Cristian, Giuliana and Martina Vair, Sebastian and Alessio Baggio, and his great-granddaughter, Daphne Sacchetti. He will be deeply missed by his family in Italy, sisters, Pasqualina and Assunta and brother, Michele as well as many nieces and nephews.

We are forever thankful to our friends and neighbours on Teakwood Place who are truly an extension of our family.

Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive their family and friends on Friday, July 1 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Guests are asked to please wear a mask for the visitation at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph on Saturday, July 2 at 10:30 am. Interment in Marymount Cemetery, 5400 Highway 6 S, Guelph.
