Connie peacefully departed her loving family on Sunday, January 23, 2022 in her 95th year. Connie was one of eleven children born to Eleanor and Alexander Cote in Windsor, Ontario on October 31, 1927. Connie grew up in a loving and lively household with her family. She is survived by her sisters Joan, husband Leo Rivait, and Patricia, late husband Tom Hunter as well as her brothers Bernard, wife Beatrice, and Robert, wife Helen, and sister-in-law, Stella Cote. Connie is predeceased by her siblings Alice McQueen, Bernadette Cote, Geraldine Ouellette, George, Glen and John (aka Mac).

It was at St. Joseph's High School in Windsor that Connie met her husband, Joseph Robert St. Pierre, and she has been the love of his life for over 72 years of marriage. Connie and Joe are the proud parents of five daughters - the late Cheryl Redwood (2016), Kathy and husband Jim Johnstone, Karen and husband Bill Kozak, Elaine and husband Chris Robinson and Barb and husband Patrick Morris. Predeceased by her son-in-law Wayne Redwood (2010). Connie held close and was dearly loved by her 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. The door was always open on 10 Linden Place in Guelph for all of the special family celebrations, especially on Christmas Day when everyone was together. After moving the family from Windsor to Guelph in 1964, Connie decided to attend school and become a Registered Nursing Assistant. She loved working for Donna Fraser at the Guelph General Hospital. Our neighbourhood church, Holy Rosary, was a big part of both Connie and Joe's lives. Connie was a lifetime member of the CWL as well as many other groups and committees in her lifetime at the church.

Connie and Joe loved to travel together and spent many wonderful years as snowbirds in Lakeland, Florida where they made lifelong and endearing friendships at Heatherwood Village. They also traveled to many parts of the world on board cruise ships. For Connie, the best day was always the day she returned home to her family. She loved to tend the rose gardens in their beautiful backyard and was usually accompanied by at least one grandchild. Shopping with one of her daughters or going to lunch with some of the CWL ladies was a great pastime.

The joy, love and memories that Connie has blessed us with will be in all of our hearts forever. We honour this beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother all the days of our lives.
