Of Aylmer, previously residing in Guelph, passed away peacefully after a short but fierce fight against cancer, August 4, 2022 at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital.
Beloved wife for 53 years of the late Samuel Cole (2020). Loved mother of Patrick Cole (Cathy) and Catherine Parmeter (Robert) of Aylmer. Beloved Grandma of Cole Parmeter, Emily Parmeter and Finnian (Finn) Cole. Sister of the late Ruth Anne O’Loan (Frank) and to Robert Stockford (Sandra). She was a wonderful mother who was extremely proud of her children and loved her grandchildren who were the apples of her eye.
Elizabeth spent many years working for the Wellington Terrace Nursing Home as an RNA in Elora. After moving to Aylmer, Elizabeth continued her caring role watching over the students at Assumption Catholic Elementary School.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital.
A tree will be planted in memory of Elizabeth M. Stockford-Cole in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
