STOUTENBURG William Albert

It is with our deepest regret to announce that our father William Albert Stoutenburg has passed away at the age of 82. After a convalescent period of three months following hip fracture surgery, he died peacefully at home with his loving wife of 55 years, Kay Stoutenburg.

He is survived by his daughters, Cherry and Ken Robinson (Guelph), Shellie (deceased) and Kip Kline, Brandie and Tony D’Ulisse (Orangeville), Amie Ross Stoutenburg and Chip Kimberley (Ohio) and grandchildren, Taylor and Maddison Robinson, Jessica and Sara D’Ulisse, Trey and Tanner Ross.

Bill will be remembered for his funny sense of humour, merry whistling, love for woodworking and the Toronto Sun “from stem to stern”. He was a brother to three sisters, a stand-up comic, a bar tender, a salesman, a youth bowling coach, a loving husband, devoted father and funny grandfather.

The family is honouring his wishes and will not be having a funeral service.

A tree will be planted in memory of William A. Stoutenburg in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm.
