Passed away suddenly while vacationing in Cuba on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the age of 63. Beloved husband and best friend of Joanne (Kostal). Loving father to Jeff Dickieson, Steven Dickieson and Kerry-Ann Dickieson. Grumpy to Kiley Hannigan, Justin Piotto and Jamie Dickieson; Grampy to Robert Garceau ,Melanie Garceau, Jasmine Dickieson, Brandi Symington, Cole Hepburn and Josh Hepburn. Great Grampy to Kateleyah Pyke, Kyler Pyke, Bailey Ferris, Greyson Duby; Great Papa to Averi Hepburn. Survived by his mother Florence Suffern, brother William Suffern (Jean), sister Brenda Gruber (Randy) and father in-law George West. Brother in-law of of Joanne Kostal (Tom), Francis Cox (John), Brian Kostal (Kim), Bruce (Suzan), Maryella Ferguson, William Kostal (Bev) and Michael Schieck (Shana). Predeceased by his father Tom Suffern (1994), grandson Devon Ross Hepburn (1994), brothers in-law John Kostal (1988), Tom Kostal (2013) and mother in-law Phyllis West (2017). Barry will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, coworkers at Bell Cartage and friends at the Red Chevron Club.
