Mrs. Theresa Sutton, affectionately known by everyone as "Gramma", in her 87th year passed away of congestive heart failure on Sunday, February 14, 2021 - Valentine's Day. Beloved wife of Fred (predeceased, 2007). Cherished mother of Linda (Ayaz Lalani), the late Colleen (Erv Goertz) and Stephanie (Lance Riley). Loving grandmother of Alix and Devin, Derek, Rachel and Abby and their spouses. Theresa was thrilled to become the great grandmother of Emmett and Ellie, Theo and Nico, Weston and Myla all of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Also survived by her sister Diane Dubs and brother Joseph Psutka. Theresa devoted herself to the care and comfort of her family. She loved to cook, bake, sew, needle crafts and fix broken things. She was an accomplished Reiki master, a skilled soap stone carver, as well as a painter of both oil and water color paintings. She was always generous with her time and possessions. Cremation has taken place with internment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Guelph. As per her wishes, there will be no funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Brain Tumour Association of Canada or the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation. She will be sorely missed.
