December 26, 1945 – August 28, 2023
It’s with great sadness that we announce Bill passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on August 28, 2023 in his 78th year. Pre-deceased by his loving wife of 24 years, Carol and his daughter Julie James, he will be deeply missed by his sons Todd and Robbie James. Bill will also be fondly remembered by his grand-children Brandi, Kyle, Ryan, Dylan, Brayden, Rylan; his great-grandchild Greyson, as well as his niece Leigh Ann, his brothers John and Roger and all of his many friends and extended family.
Born in Montreal, Bill moved to Ontario to start his family and then spent a good deal of his life living and working between Ontario and Quebec. He worked hard and eventually became a small business owner before his retirement. He delighted in watching his grandsons playing hockey and would spend all day there if he could. Family vacations to Sherkston Shores where he watched his grandchildren make lasting memories while he commanded the BBQ brought him immense joy. He enjoyed living, he loved children and was always happy to spend his days with family and the people he cared for. He is and will be deeply missed.
As per Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place and in lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Wellington is greatly appreciated by the family.
