Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Monday, October 21,2019, at the age of 76.
Beloved partner of Jim Davis. Loved mother of David Sloat. Predeceased by daughter Kelly Sloat (2015). Dear sister of Shirley (the late Gerry) Reis, June (Bill) Coulter, Jean (the late Charlie) Mohr, and sister-in-law of Shirley (the late Paul) Waddell and Wilma Jordan (the late Cameron Waddell).
Predeceased by siblings Joyce (Bill) Reis and Joanne (Sandy) McTavish. Ruth will always be fondly remembered by her family and friends as a caring, kind and generous person. Ruth and Jim thoroughly enjoyed spending summers at their second home in Port Elgin with family and friends.
