Passed away peacefully at Guelph General Hospital in his 92nd year on
May 16th, 2021.

Zoltan lived in Ariss, Ontario, with his wife Julia Szakaly (deceased)
until 2015. Zoltan spent the last 6 years of his life at Norfolk Manor
in Guelph, Ontario, where he created many friendships.

Zoltan was born on January 1st, 1929 in Hungary and came to Canada as a
refugee in 1956 after being an active member in the war. He went on to
graduate with a diploma in nursing and was a long time employee at the
Homewood Health Centre in Guelph. Zoltan was a member of the Hungarian
Canadian Club as well as the Guelph Soccer Club. He was an avid reader
and although it was all in Hungarian, he would tell the stories of his
past in English.

Zoltan, Zoli, Z will be greatly missed by close friend Alesha Bogad and
her daughters Annika and Devyn. Zoltan was intelligent, funny, gentle,
caring, stubborn and one of the strongest men we know, he lived all his
days this way right until the very end and that legacy will forever be
in our hearts and minds.

Following Zoltan's wishes, cremation and interment at Woodlawn Memorial
Park have taken place.
