On August 26, 2019, our family lost our Patriarch and leader when Richard Roy Copley Tanner passed away at the age of 62. He leaves behind his wife and childhood sweetheart Lianne, his children Scott (and wife Lora), Michelle, Lisa (and husband Teri); his grandchildren Michael, Talys, Chase, Landen, Layla, Sylvia, and Sabrina. Mother in law Anne and father in law Bill will keep him in their memories always. He will be greatly missed by sister Joanne, brother in law Michael, nieces Samantha and Leigh, great - niece Sofia, great-nephew Keegan, sister in law Shirley and her family, brother in law Jack and his family. He is predeceased by his mother Joan and father Roy.
His influence, strength and love will always guide us.
A Celebration of Life is being arranged and date and time will be advised when known.
A tree will be planted in memory of Richard R. C. Tanner in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2:30 pm.
