Born 1931 in Richmond, Quebec, passed away at Hospice Wellington, on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at the age of 88 years. She was the much loved mother of; Joanne Keane, Lisa Finamore (Paul) and Lorna Tetreault (Steve Crawford). Cherished Nanny to Tania (JP Madden), Scott, Duane, Ashley and Brittany. Rita was the beloved daughter of Norman James Crook and Regina Augusta Davidson and sister to; Elmer, Gladys, Stewart, Bobby, Alton, Leighton, Norma, Velma and Marilyn. She is also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Rita retired from Imperial Tobacco after 49 years; where many cherished friends and memories were made. Her passion of cards led her to the cribbage Guelph Ladies League and the Army and Navy Euchre League. Rita’s outgoing personality and spunk will be greatly missed by all. The family extends a warm thank you to Hospice Wellington for their outstanding care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
