February 1922 – June 2017

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 20, 2017 at Parkwood Veterans Hospital in London Ontario in his 96th year. Beloved husband of the late Maureen (2007). Loved father of Kenneth (Gayleen), John (Sandra), Charles (Wendy), Robert (Christy), Catherine (Bryon) and Eileen (Bill). Grumpy will be dearly missed by his 22 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his cherished granddaughter Catherine and his brothers Josef and Louis.

Koloman was a WW2 veteran serving overseas with the Royal Canadian Engineers. He took part in D-Day in 1944 and the liberation of Holland in 1945.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Koloman’s life on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph. Memorial visitation will take place from 10 –- 11 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 11 am in the chapel with light refreshments following the service.
