Of Guelph, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5th, 2020, with his family by his side at home, at the age of 76.
Derek was the beloved husband and best friend of 55 years to Judy (nee Evans). Loving dad of Kelly (Paul) Cooke and Quentin (Jennifer) Trimble. Very proud poppa to Melissa (Paul), Zac, Taylin (Willy), Keyanna (Zachery), Elizabeth, Jayce, Elluxa, Mila. Predeceased by his parents, Clifford Trimble and Audrey Stewart. Son-in law to Mary Evans (late Jiggs). Dear brother to Linda (the late Jim) Marshall, the late Ray (Chris) Trimble, Patrick (Sheila) Trimble, Sandi (Fred) Butler, Kim (Jeff) Cronkwright, Ken (Helen) Stewart and Randy (Robin) Stewart. Will be deeply missed by his extended family, the Evans’, and many friends.
Derek enjoyed being with his family and friends and loved working with the kids on his car.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
