Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington surrounded by her family on Thursday September 5th, 2018 in her 66th year.
Beloved wife of 45 years to Jim, loving mother of Julie (Geoff) Nantes, Tim (Donetta) Van Duzen. Cherished Grandma and Nana of Parker, James, Henry, Ryan and Keira. Baby sister of John Robinson, Dave (Janice) Robinson. Predeceased by parents James and Vera Robinson.
Carol’s love and compassion for people was always present in her work and home life. Carol loved the ocean and beach vacations with her family. She was adored by her grandchildren who she always made time for. She will forever be missed but live on in our hearts.
But for those who have hope in the Lord he will renew their strength. They will soar on the wings like eagles: they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not grow faint.
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Friday 6-9 pm. A service to celebrate Carol's life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 454 Arkell Rd., Guelph on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 12 pm.
Memorial contributions to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Carol A. Van Duzen in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2:30 pm.
