Matthew is survived by his wife Nicole, and children Rebecca, Stephanie, Tamara, Jordan, Kirkland, Aubyn, Ryker, and Brittany. He will be forever be missed by his grandchildren, Madison and Arailiyah, Brandie-Lynn and Kingston, Haylie and Remi, Savannah, Sophia, Graci and Tj. Matthew touched the lives of many and will be missed by countless friends and family. Although he will forever be missed, the family takes comfort knowing he’s reunited with Tyler.
A private service will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL on Sunday, March 21, 2021 at 1:30 pm. Guests may join remotely through the Zoom link on the funeral home website at the time of the service.
A tree will be planted in memory of Matthew R. Van Wart in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
