Veroni

It is with great sadness that the family of Brenda Lynn Veronica Veroni (nee Schiedel) announce her peaceful passing on the morning of Monday May 2nd 2022. Brenda passed away with the love of her family surrounding her.

Beloved wife of 40 years to Michael Veroni. Devoted mother of Malissa (Alonzo Prince), Angela and Dominic (Alison Piwlaw). She will be terribly missed by her puppies Sterling and Nina. Predeceased by her mother Joan Schiedel, and her adored grandparents Kathleen and Wilfred Herbin. Brenda leaves behind a growing family of five bonus grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Being the strong determined woman we all admire, Brenda surpassed medical knowledge and records, and fought endlessly until her final breath.

Brenda is known to many as "Mrs. Veroni" as she served as one of the best and most loved Educational Assistants (EA) at St. Johns Elementary School for over 30 years. Brenda was loved and adored by the thousands of children she helped. Other than Brenda's own family, her students were her everything. Friends and family will remember her amazing food and hospitality.

For those who knew Brenda she developed a love for angels after surviving breast cancer twice over twenty years ago. On her passing she was surrounded by angels and became one herself.

Gone from our home but not from our hearts. May her pain leave and her strength remain to those who she left.

Because of Brenda's love for children, the family requests that donations be made to St. John's Breakfast Club & After School Care and the Sacred Heart One Heart One Soul Campaign in her honour.

The family wish to thank the nursing care for Brenda, especially Jose, Thank you to our neighbours, for their generous donations of food, cards and well wishes. Thank you to St. Johns Catholic School and St. Patrick's Catholic School for their support and prayers for Brenda.

Visitation for Brenda will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. Prayers will held at 4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church (corner of Alice and Huron) on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 11 a.m.
