Passed away at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Saturday, February 24th. 2018. Bill Vickery at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean (McEwen) Vickery [2014]. Loved father of Brenda Hanna (Larry) of Breslau, Bill (Maria) of Mississauga, Michael (Marie) and Chris (Roxanna) all of Guelph. Loving grandfather of Jennifer Idzik (Steve), Tim, Kristy, Emily, Makayla, Dylan, Luka, Danielle, Joey, Megan McGlone (Shawn Hitchcock), Kyle McGlone and great grandfather of Haiden, Peyton, Madison, Ava and Blake.
Dear brother of Betty Green, Kate Quarrie, Nancy Burton (Ross), Cheryl Schmidt (Jim), Jim Vickery (Rose), Bob Vickery (Pauline). He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and many friends. He is remembered as a longtime realtor with Royal City Real Estate, a bridge player and golfer.
Memorial visitation will be at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph on Friday, March 2nd from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Memorial Service on Friday at 11:30 a.m. Reception to follow at the Trillium Room of the Funeral Home.
