We are heartbroken to share our loss with you, the sudden and unexpected passing of Jeffrey Vogel on March 16, 2021 at the age of 67 due to acute leukemia. Leaving behind his life partner Deborah McLeish. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Doreen Vogel (nee Kam). Brother to Jill Vogel Parker (Ray Parker) and Marla Vogel. Uncle to Aiden Parker (Émilie) and Shane Parker.
Jeffrey was an entrepreneur from an early age, with careers spanning from that of a sound engineer in Toronto, assuming management of a wholesale furniture business from his late dad, and lastly for many years, as an investment advisor in Guelph. Adventuresome, outgoing, well-travelled, a gourmet and excellent home chef. Passions focused on the music of his generation, finances and related industries.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service and interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Jeffrey’s family and friends will celebrate his life in the summer, at his beloved cottage on Lake Simcoe. If desired, memorial contributions to the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital would be appreciated.
