WADE, Samuel (Sam) Joseph

Passed away with his family by his side, at the Guelph General Hospital, on Thursday, January 11, 2018. Sam Wade, in his 93rd year, was the beloved husband, of 57 years, of Myra (nee Doherty) Wade of Guelph. He was the loving father of Steve and his wife Nancy and Chris, all of Guelph. Sam was predeceased by his sister Margaret and by his brother James. He is survived by nieces and nephews in Canada, Ireland and Australia.

Cremation has taken place. The family will receive their friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. A Vigil for Sam will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 3:30 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation, Guelph, would be appreciated by the family.
