On March 23, 2017, age 85, died peacefully at home. Beloved daughter of the late Josephus and Dorothy Ward, and granddaughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. John Ward. Dear niece of the late Robert and Vera Ritchie and Hilda and Norman Heppenstall. Loving cousin of Susan Steedman and Marion Ritchie and John Ritchie. The service, provided by Wall Custance Funeral Home, will be held at the Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph, noon, April 27, 2017, presided by Major Wayne Hong. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre.
A tree will be planted in memory of Barbara M. Ward in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
