Passed away suddenly in Guelph at the age of 41 on February 14, 2021. Survived by her brother Kevin (Jessica) and proud auntie of Scarlett. She will be missed by the extended members of the Way, Yantzi and Stewart families. Predeceased by Kenneth Way, Lester Yantzi, Nancy Yantzi and Cheryl Yantzi.
Krista will be missed by all her friends and teammates in Special Olympics. Krista had such a positive outlook on life and had an infectious smile and touched everyone’s heart.
Krista had amazing support from all her workers at Community Living who went above and beyond in many circumstances.
Visitation will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St, Guelph, on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 12-3pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all attendees must RSVP a visitation time slot on the funeral home website, practice social distancing and wear a mask at all times. A funeral service for Krista will be available on the funeral home website on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 3pm through Zoom.
