Passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
Evelyn is survived by her loving daughter Pamela and two grandchildren David and Sean, whom she adored. Predeceased by her husband David (1996), her parents Emmanuel and Sara. Siblings Etta, Verlie, Bernard, Carmel, Isa, Matilda, Leonard, Henry, and Georgina.
Evelyn was originally from Cape Breton, NS and moved to Guelph in 1949 with her husband where she worked at the Royal Dairy. Her heart was always in Cape Breton and she loved returning home. Evelyn was a fantastic cook and she loved baking and making shortbread every Christmas to give away.
She will be missed by many nieces and nephews and the ‘Greenview Porch Girls’, who would often sit on the porch with her where she spent most of her time in the summer.
Rest easy mom, we will miss you.
