Passed away gracefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Monday, February 14, 2022. George (Butch) Lenard Whalley was the loved husband of Diana; dear father of Edward (Ted), Lee (Monika), Karen Crocker (Kevin) and Ginette MacLean (Kevin). Poppy or Pop-Pop of 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John and Ivy Whalley, brother John “Jack” (Barb), son George “Butchie” Hutchcraft and nephew John Whalley.
Butch was the glue that kept the family together; kept the boys on their toes and made sure the ladies knew their worth. We will all miss him dearly and he will always be with us.
