WHITTAKER, Palma Anne (Damaren)

Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on Tuesday July 10, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Whittaker (June 11, 1991). Devoted and precious mother to Geraldine Brombal (Sidonio), Loretta McEvilly (Christopher), Linda Welsh (Brian), Mary Varey (Michael), Brenda Whittaker (Gordon Wilson), Gerald Whittaker (Suchin), Christopher Whittaker and the late Paul and Edward Whittaker. Treasured grandmother to 17 grandchildren and their spouses and proud great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Bruno Damaren (Theresa) and Elvia Tonin (Aldo). Pre-deceased by sisters Elide Prior (Fred), Mary Priamo, Norena Burke (Ray) and brothers Egidio Damaren (Rita) and Reno Damaren. Dear sister-in-law to Anita Damaren (Reno). Pre-deceased by brothers and sisters-in-law George and Theresa Hurst, Richard and Elizabeth Justin. Loved aunt to many nieces and nephews in the Damaren and Whittaker families.

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Sunday July 15th from 2-4 & 6-8 pm with prayers at 7:30pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph, on Monday July, 16th at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Marymount Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre, Guelph or charity of choice will be appreciated by the family.
